While Some are Using this Week to Party and Celebrate in Vegas, Others are Committing Heroic Acts in their Community/Super Bowl Preview

Las Vegas, Nevada has been the center of the sports world this week - it's difficult to open up any social media app from Rumble to Instagram to Twitter and not see Dana White, the Nelk Boys, and/or personal friend of the program Dave Portnoy cleaning up on the blackjack table, yukking it up at PowerSlap with TB12, or hosting a less than packed crowd at their Barstool Live show... and I am deeply jealous. Side note - curious why local outlets that have nothing to do with the two teams (in this case Boston with Zolak, Felger, etc.) are in the fray - why those guys are there are as good as a guess as any.

Anyway... some of us more aspirational media moguls aren't at radio row all week... some of us are pushing pencils, hitting the phones, editing up reels, writing blogs, recording YouTube shows, or even reporting on BC's new head coaching hires. But others are out committing heroic acts, others are putting life and limb on the line protecting the precious baby dog community from the infiltrating beasts of San Francisco:

Are these wolves or are these coyotes? Baby Bo was almost swallowed whole by these beasts, and perhaps that gives me more satisfaction than any blackjack table or gallivanting with Tom Brady ever would. Credit to me. Alright let's talk the game at hand:

Let's talk actual game prediction - Niners win this game big. They have the momentum, they have not played their best ball, and they are peaking at exactly the right time. There are only a few big questions that I do not have answers to yet that will be important to make sure this outcome comes to bear:

Will the Niners come out with their Boombox? And will they be playing Kanye? If so, their chances go up big time.

What will the Mahomes family look like during the game? Will Jackson be allowed with Brittany and Taylor or will he be banished to the 300 seats? If so, another win for the Niners.

Sod... this is the biggest question mark of the game. Will the sod be the same as last year? If so, the Niners are in trouble... they need that tight grass to get off as pass rushers for Bosa and Young. Those boys are the X Factor - pressure on Mahomes while keeping him in the pocket is a huge must for this game.

Will Brock Purdy show up in the first half? I believe so, can't get away with slow starts in the Super Bowl like you can in the divisional round at home.

How is the health of Joe Thuney? If he is not playing or not at 100% for the Chiefs, it's going to make it a lot harder to get their offense going, especially with the run game. Advantage Niners.

Will the Niners limit the damage to Travis Kelce? I think you make him go for 200+ yards and don't let anybody else get going... kind of like letting Pistol Pete Maravich get his 55 points for LSU back in the day and not letting the rest of his team score 10.

Will Kadarius Toney be suited up? If so, psychological win for the Niners.

Will Kyle Shanahan play it aggressive on 4th downs? There will be guaranteed a big play decision in this game and Kyle needs to make the right one - no SB 51 run on second down allowed here.

Will Jake Moody be ready for a big kick? It's coming... could be the end of the first half, could be to win the game. No elements today, not excuses. Gotta be ready to go from within 55 yards, from either hash.

See you all out in the Mission celebrating this evening! Let's get a win, Niners. #bangbangninergang
