Dog Surfing World Championships 2023
The beach was packed, the electricity was in the air, and the dogs were ready for battle at the 2023 Dog Surfing World Championships last week at Linda Mar in Pacifica, CA. The waves were intense, and sometimes difficult to manage, but that didn’t stop incredible performances from some of the top dogs in the game, including Derby California, Rippin Rosie, and Skyler the Surfing Dog. Check out this video for expert commentary from a veteran of the dog surf world, capturing the fierce competition as well as postgame interviews with participants. Dog Surfing World Championships 2023

We decided to ask attendees, as well as locals in Truckee and Tahoe City, their thoughts so the people can make an informed decision on the issue. Watch the journey from dreamer to doer in what some are calling the best short film of 2023 with Sundance, Cannes, and Oscar buzz galore.“Never have I seen someone make so much of three decent lines on a snowboard.” - Brendan (Dan’s buddy)“Hey Dan, sick short film you’ve been talking about for 2 years. You should probably get a job and make your damn website.” - Tavis (OTM contributor)“I thought it was alright.” - Producer Reese"Dan doesn't even ski." - KevinThe project that started it all… hoping to get back to this level in the mountains at some point in the future, ACLs are more difficult to come back from than originally thought.Thank you to the Gaffney brothers for the inspiration.
