We do our best to keep things loose and light… dog surfing, Palisades pond skim, flip cup world championships… but at the same time want to be on the ground with where the news is happening, especially when it’s right in our own backyard of San Francisco.
Issues like foreign affairs, from China’s Communist regime to the Israel-Palestine conflict, may seem out of scope, but the vision is to be a proper network like CBS or HBO, and they cover all of those things as well as the sports and the fun - just not with one guy (working on that one, investors welcome).
Did we end up getting a proper media credential and ask the hard-hitting questions to Joe Biden, Xi Xinping, and Gavin Newsom? Maybe not… but we did mix it up with the people outside, and in doing this for the last year or so, we believe our hypothesis is correct that this is always where the true story lies: with the people. Should the US be meeting with an oppressive regime like the PRC? Should Gavin Newsom be gifting Xi Xinping Warriors jerseys? Should the US remain active in the Israel - Palestine conflict?
