Stocktober: Producer Reese Central Valley Update

This is going to be a bit of an experimental blog. You can think of it as a little news recap, except it only has to do with stuff going on in Stockton, as reported by Producer Reese. As the Asian cowboy (some have said), it is my duty to keep the people outside of the Valley up-to-date with what is going on here. It is also my responsibility to give the people of Stockton a voice and showcase the fruitful achievements of these simple, hard working people.

Producer Reese is in fact the Asian Cowboy.

It’s starting to get cold here, I was freezing my balls off over here in high 50 degree weather. Doesn’t sound bad, but it’s quite a shock when the temperature drops significantly within a day or so. Anyway, this cold ass weather wasn’t stopping the locals from showing up to the local Stockton Cruise Night on the Miracle Mile via Pacific Avenue. I don’t think I’ve introduced it before, but Stockton Cruise Night is a monthly event that takes place on one of the more popular thoroughfares throughout town, known as the Miracle Mile. In a nutshell, it’s basically a low-rider event. Hundreds of collectors and enthusiasts fill the streets with their parked low riders and show off their rides. It’s actually pretty impressive seeing the time commitment that some of these guys put into their builds. Lots of chrome, custom airbrushed paint, and some banging stereo equipment is usually what you would find on one of these vehicles. This month’s Stockton Cruise Night was Halloween themed, so there were lots of spectators out in costume and plenty of vehicles with decorations on them. Pretty hype scene, this was like the most people I’ve ever seen in that part of town- and this was at night too.

In other news, there have been rumors of a second Jake Paul/Nate Diaz Fight. According to the circulating flyers, Paul Diaz 2 is supposed to take place on December 15 - not even two months from now. My boy cleared the air on this when he told me that this was just a meme someone made for whatever reason. Even if this was actually going down, I’m pretty sure the people of Stockton wouldn’t be too hype about it. Their 209 ego is still recovering after this past August. By the way, I still owe a blog giving my 15-20 reasons why Diaz was supposed to win that fight- a little late now, but could still be funny to see all of it together in one article.

Speaking of Nate Diaz, the Nick Diaz Academy in Lodi is now officially opened for classes. I believe this will be the second one to open in the Central Valley, with the first one located in Stockton. The NDA franchise offers fighter training with a specialty in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. They teach 6 days a week, with open mat on Saturday. https://ndalodi.gymdesk.com/ Fun Fact, Nate Diaz was actually born and raised in Lodi (but it’s really all the same out here).

That’s what’s going on in the Central Valley as of this past month.

God Bless,

Producer Reese
