Producer Reese’s official announcement for the kickoff of Short King Spring created a lot of buzz via social media a few weeks back- so much buzz that the video had to be taken down temporarily. Nevertheless, your leader of the short kings continues to guide the way. If you didn’t know, we are officially in the midst of Short King Spring. To all my short kings out there, start bulking up. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you can’t get taller, get wider- go hit the gym and get on your A game. To all the ladies out there, sit back and relax while I explain to you why you need a short king in your life.
One day, I was in a gym locker room with a close buddy of mine. We had just finished hitting the weights and were checking out the pump in the mirrors. There was a group of teenagers that just walked in, so we asked them who looked bigger, me or my buddy. My friend and I have about the same amount of muscle mass on our bodies, but he is about 4 inches taller than me and 30 pounds heavier. The teenagers agreed that I looked bigger, but only because I was shorter. Looking back, I definitely understand where they were coming from. I believe that shorter guys have an easier time bulking up and gaining muscle because: 1) they don’t have as much limb/torso area to build up 2) they’re proportions allow them to appear bigger. Simply put, 175 pounds will look completely different on a fit 5’3” dude and a fit 6’0” dude.

At some point in their lives, every short guy has to make an important decision. This decision will play a significant role in how their journey will unfold. They can either choose to become the living stereotype of an angry, irritated, insecure short man. Or they can choose to become a short king. A short king understands the cards that he is dealt, the advantages and disadvantages that he has, and is proactive in finding ways to overcome these disadvantages. A short king will work twice as hard in learning to become more confident with himself. A short king may also put more effort towards developing his sense of humor. He may even work on improving his general attitude. In the end, all of these elements equate to the astounding short guy charm. Side note to all my short guys reading this part: You can’t choose your height, but you can choose what kind of short dude you can be. Don’t be the angry short dude.
I would argue that Tom Holland, 5'7" is a very charming bloke.
So for all the queens here, short or tall, here are some random benefits you may not have thought about. Instagram Posts: For those of you who are short queens, you and your man can now be exactly level with each other in photos. There’s no need to shoot your pictures in portrait anymore due to a significant height difference. I mean look at this beautiful photo of one of my short king role models, with his family.

Here’s another one for the short queens. You have basically just doubled your wardrobe. There’s a lot of girls out there who like rocking their taller boyfriend’s baggy clothes. But if you’re dating a short king, you can steal your man's clothes and it will actually fit right.
One more, and this one can apply to short queens or tall queens. No more having to fight over space in the bed. Short kings don’t take up a lot of mattress real estate, they don't take up a lot of space in general- really. You’re welcome.
