Did Producer Reese Purposefully Post Explicit Imagery on Last Week's episode of OneTake Tonight to Continue his Internal Siege on the Company? Let's Investigate

I enjoy working with Producer Reese. He's come a long way from terrible edits in Sony Vegas Pro, absolutely nuking instagram reels by re-rendering them multiple times before publishing, living in his cellar/not going outside, and sending me large invoices for work that he never completed. But he is not an exception to one of the cardinal rules of humanity: we all have a shadow, and when Producer Reese shows his, he can easily get caught in his own web of lies, deceit, mischief, and sabotage. To our newer readers, this was well documented in 'A Culture of Lies' produced last year (I'd recommend a view).

Last Wednesday when we recorded our latest iteration of OneTake Tonight, I felt it went well - I wrote a few solid jokes, we discussed the failed negotiations between CTEspn and OTM, BottleRock Napa, our failed intern season - the episode flowed smoothly, all we needed was for Producer Reese to do his job, slap on the graphic, get the audio sync'd up, and upload to Youtube. Easy as pie!

But upon uploading... I noticed a lack of engagement/viewership that was not apropos to our most recent episodes, garnering tens of views. Had I lost my touch hosting? Were my jokes about Harvard's 2024 graduation too offensive? Was our small but loyal following finally revolting against our empire?

Then it hit me... and by me I mean our Youtube Channel:

A warning! What could it be for? I had to dig deeper...

'Violent or graphic content' - Producer Reese had done it again. During an investigation of the recently found Stockton, CA cockfighting ring in our segment 'blogs of the week', Producer Reese had included a brief snippet of a live cockfight - this was the straw that broke the camel's back. I once again wholeheartedly, as I did in the now unavailable Youtube video, oppose and disavow the fighting between farm animals for the entertainment value of people, as does the rest of the OneTake Media organization. Producer Reese seemed to think this was a way for farm owners to show their love for animals - I do not believe that to be the case.

Even after an impassioned appeal, the episode was deemed too far gone to come back from:

All of that work... all of that writing... all of that hilariousness... down the drain. Disappointment to the likely 50 or so folks who would end up watching, and to the 23 that did, we thank you for your patronage. Did Producer Reese do this on purpose? Was this part of a larger plot to continue his way of asserting his ego into the equation? Does he plan on attempting to sabotage our Youtube Channel even more in the coming months? That is all to be determined.

Sure, we could easily just take out the 3 second clip and re-upload, but that would be too logical... and the question remains: what should the punishment be for Young Reesey here?

I believe he needs to atone with the rooster community, and conduct a short but purposeful book report on the negative effects of cockfighting for the roosters as well as the surrounding communities. I believe that will atone for this sins, but know, Producer Reese, that my eyes are out for your shadow once again. And this will indeed come up at your next performance review.

Truckin',

Daniel
