To the tens of tens people who have heard me on One Take Radio, you already know who I am and probably need no introduction - but my friend TI introduced himself and truthfully, I want one too.
It's been a while since I've put pen to paper (fingers to keyboard?) Over 2 and half years to be exact. I come from humble beginning writing articles for Boston College with a small site that went by the name of Sports Illustrated. Covid happened, graduation and the reality my aspirations of becoming the next Bill Simmons subsided so I went and go a real job. Shout out all my pencil pushin, deal wielding commission bros and sisters out there.
A few things I have learned since becoming a profession as follows:
A few more things of note, expect alot of Red Sox stuff and I'm talking alot. I saw my colleague and REAL LIFE friend Tavis mentioned hes not into numbers. Well, thats silly and I will have plenty to throw around - it's going to be awesome. Much like the Red Sox themselves but we will get into that later this week.
For now we keep this introduction rolling, beyond baseball I also am a BC loser who has been rooting for that poor program over 20 years and have yet to be rewarded, my podcast on them is riveting and although you won't listen I'm here to tell you it is.
I will end it by thanking CEO Dan E. Dials for giving me this shot. Can't say 'I won't let you down' because well I probably will. But FUCK IT we ball.
ELECTRIC Start baby!! BC Banter Podcast is electric, I can vouch. Nobody loves BC sports more than B-Rider. Literally cannot imagine one other person...
Three excellent articles by Danny Dials, B-Rider ("EZ" Rider) and Producer Reese. Good insight into the phenomenon of OneTakeMedia and it's growing influence in the media world. T
