Producer Reese here. If you've been a long term follower of OneTakeMedia.com, then congratulations, you are considered part of the OneTakeMafia. I, on the other hand, am the first official made man of the OneTakeMafia. What does it mean to be a made man? Well, if you truly have been keeping up with OTM's shenanigans over the past 8 months, then you are probably familiar with my character arc. I was a part of OTM long before we even hand a name for the company/had any idea as to what direction we were going in with this endeavor. About two years ago, I started working for a shithead I met on Craigslist, pretty much just sorting through his snowboarding footage and piecing it together with no process. Yes, back then I had no process, no framework, no vision (I still don't have any of these - working towards it though, God Bless Me). Producer Reese from this era was a straight electric factory. He was a conspiracy theorist, homebody, and top tier Fortnite player. Boom! Fast forward another year or so and the foundation of OneTakeMedia is starting to take shape. I'm still working for Danny Dials, the shithead I mentioned earlier, and his vision is starting to come together. I, Producer Reese, am starting to get the hang of things. My brain is becoming softer, I am learning to be more open minded. I'm producing reels for OTM on Sony Vegas, a state-of-the-art editing software. Things are happening, the world is still spinning, OTM is growing slowly- but surely. But they don't call me sneaky Reese for no reason. Yes, I was producing, but every now and then I would do something behind the companies back, in order to benefit myself. I would delete footage, cut corners, re-render footage like 10 different times, refuse to use Adobe Premiere (the REAL goat of editing softwares), and worst of all- I would hide the fact that I was doing all of this stuff (or at least try to). But it definitely showed in my work... Just like Trevor Reznik in The Machinist, the guilt I was feeling would not let me do anything. I couldn't sleep, I would fib worse than Young Emilio, my edits were low energy. If it weren't for Danny Dials, I probably wouldn't be writing this blog post right now. I'd probably be stuck in my ways of sneaking around like a mouse, producing low quality reels and ignoring my responsibilities to the team. Dan gave me one last chance to come clean and take responsibility for all of my fibbing. I took the opportunity to do so, and finally got everything off of my chest. Shortly after this I was given the title of a Made Man, and was provided with a high-quality Sartoro suit. You have to understand though, that becoming a Made Man is something that should not be taken lightly. Along with receiving this title and suit, there were several obligations and responsibilities towards the OneTakeMafia that I had to accept. I can't speak about everything, but what I can tell you is that, as a made man:
Failing to do any of these things will result in getting whacked by the OneTakeMafia's Sicario, Tony Bautista (aka Little Tony, TB 2)
It is now May 23', and it feels good to still be a made man. I have my quirks, and every now and then I fib a little. But I always try to keep those 3 principles in the back of my head. Was this one of the greatest character arc stories, in the history of character arc stories? Maybe? Am I a weapon yet? Probably not, I don't know, I have long a way to go still. But I will say, my personal development throughout working at OTM has helped me produce one of the greatest films in the history of ski documentaries, allowed me to help create reels that reach 10-20k people, and helped me find joy in the creative process. God Bless.

By the way, I owe the team an apology for my absence at today's OneTakeRadio...
I would like to formally apologize to my colleagues here at OneTakeMedia.com... I have no valid excuse for missing today's episode, it was a shame of me to leave my guys hanging like that, especially when they rely on me to produce the entire episode after (with a little bit of help from Dan). Sometimes I get a little soft, get kind of tired, and end up falling asleep through the entire afternoon. I will say this though, this is the only episode I have missed so far. B-Rider and TI, both you guys have missed at least 3 episodes each, while tending to your personal needs. All I'm saying is, these are just the facts. Anyways... while we try to accept the fact that these guys are calling me out for my one absence, while they are often nowhere to be found on some days that we record OTR... I would like to say that, as a made man, I will do better here moving forward. God Bless.
